Genome is a neobank with Ukrainian and Lithuanian roots headquartered in Vilnius. It serves clients all around Europe (B2B/B2C segments) and enables its users to open and manage accounts, make payments, and exchange currencies 100% remotely. 

Risk Manager Profile

In July 2023, Genome decided to extend its Anti-Money Laundering department. They opened 4 vacancies for strong middle risk-management specialists. Hiring managers expected that two of them should have KYC/KYB experience and the other two possess a transaction monitoring background. 

Sourcing Strategy

  • We analyzed the Lithuanian fintech market and focused on large financial institutions, neobanks, and white-label companies with AML departments. We concentrated mainly on donors which had managerial problems or did not offer any career growth to their employees. 

  • We requested recommendations from specialists who other departments recently hired. 

  • The key channel was a direct search via LinkedIn using a potential donors list.

  • As a supportive channel, we posted our job ads on LinkedIn, Lithuanian job

  • boards such as CVbankas, CVonline, and Genome’s career page.
